This is a community for walgreens stores All of this is true sure, but the really reason all of this is happening to walgreens in particular is declining profit margins/reimbursements on prescription drugs and pressure/money being sucked out of the pharmacies by the pbms, which is why walgreens is year over year losing market share and generally seeing declining profits. I received the entire bonus in the first two weeks It turns out it is a tremendously understaffed operation with tremendously inefficient outdated systems The customers are the worst customers anywhere and i’ve ever worked retail over 20 years However, it’s not entirely the customers fault because customer service.

Wouldn't say it's the best job that ever existed, but i do take some pride in keeping a clean store, and like some aspects of dealing with the public.
